Change Session ( Setting Module )

  1. The Change Session feature in VIDYA School Management Software allows users to switch between academic sessions for viewing or updating historical or upcoming data.

    🧭 When to Use This Feature

    • To view or print reports from a previous academic session.
    • To begin data entry for a new academic session.
    • To perform session-specific tasks (e.g., fee collection, admission, results).

    🛠️ Steps to Change the Session

    1. Open VIDYA Software and go to the Settings Module.
    2. Click on the Change Session option.
            
From the list, select the desired academic session.

Description

Change for Me Only

Temporary session switch for the current user only. Useful in network mode where individual users need access to different sessions.

Change as Default

Permanent session change for all users. Use this if the entire institution is moving into a new academic year or working on that session.
