Configure Bell Settings in VIDYA School Software

Bell ( Setting Module )

1. The Bell in VIDYA School Management Software allows schools to automate bell ringing throughout the day based on a pre-defined schedule. This feature is especially useful for maintaining punctuality and a consistent daily routine.

   🛠️ Steps to Add a New Bell Schedule

   1.       Open VIDYA Software.
   2.     Navigate to the Settings Module.
   3.     Click on the Bell option.

              

1. In the Bell Settings window, click “Download Bell Sound” to download available bell tones.

   ➕ Add a New Bell

            

1. ·  Bell Name: Enter a descriptive name (e.g., First Period, Morning Assembly, Lunch Over, School Over).
   ·  Select Days: Choose either:
             o   ✅ All Day – for daily bells
             o   Or individually check ✅ Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat
   ·   Select Bell Sound: Click “Select Tone” to choose a bell sound.
   ·   Set Time: Define the exact time the bell should ring.
   ·   Click “Add” to save the bell configuration.
   ✅Your bell schedule will now be activated based on the selected settings.

✏ Edit an Existing Bell

1.      In the Bell Settings window, click the Edit/Delete button next to the bell entry.

2.     Confirm the prompt by clicking “Yes”.

3.     Update the bell details:

o   Bell Name

o   Days of the week

o   Bell Time

o   Bell Tone

4.     Click “Update” to save the changes.

🔄 The bell will now ring based on the updated configuration.

❌ Delete a Bell

1.     Click the Delete button next to the bell you wish to remove.

2.     Confirm the action by clicking “Yes” in the prompt.

3.     ✅ The selected bell will be permanently deleted.
