Connect Database with VIDYA School Software

Follow these Steps to Attach & Configure Database-

  Connect Database with Local DB 
  1. Provide full security to the “DATABASE” folder.
  2. When open VIDYA software following windows will open
  3.    Click on Already user? I have license.
   
  1. Following window will be open.
 
  1.  Click on Select Database path. And click on OK button.

  1.  Click on save button.

  1. Click on OK Button.

  1. Click on save Button.

  1. After Clicking save Button software will be restart.


Connect Database with SQL server

  1.  Provide full security to the “DATABASE” folder.
  2.  When open VIDYA software following windows will open
  3. Click on Already user? I have license.


  1. After that Following window will open

  1. Then Select Network Mode in Software Mode.
  2. Select Server in PC Type.
  3. Select Instance Name- SQLEXPRESS1 or SQLEXPRESS.
  4. Select Database Path.
  5. Then Click Database Tool.
  6. Following Window will open.  
         
  1.   Click on the message following window will open. Then click on “Add” button.
    
  1. Following window opens. Click on “Select File” button.
 
  1. Following window opens. Select “VIDYACOMM.mdf” from “DATABASE” folder placed in Last driveà “VIDYAOne” folder. Then click on “Open” button.


  • Following window appears. Click on “Add” button.


  • As you click on “Add” button the message will be displayed.
  • “Add Successfully”. Click on “OK” button.

  1.  Using the same steps add “VIDYA_SESS_2024_25.mdf” or “other sessions” from “Database Tool.exe”
