Ensure clear, consistent, and CBSE-compliant result interpretation using the Division Setting feature in VIDYA School Management Software. With this tool, schools can effortlessly define percentage ranges for result divisions like Excellent, Good, Pass, or Fail, and apply them across multiple classes.

Follow the below-mentioned steps to process Division Setting  -  

  • Click on Exam CBSE  Module.
  • Select Division Setting option.                                                                                                                             

  • Select New option to add new division setting.
  • Write Setting Name.
           

  • How to Add a New Division Setting

    Follow these steps to create a new grading structure:

    1.       Go to the Exam (CBSE) Module.

    2.     Click on Division Setting.

    3.     Select the New option.

    4.     Enter a Setting Name.

    5.     For each division:

    o   Fill in Max Value (e.g., 100)

    o   Fill in Min Value (e.g., 91)

    o   Enter the Grade/Division (e.g., A1)

    o   Write a Remark (e.g., Excellent)

    o   Define the Result status (e.g., Pass)

    6.     Click Add to insert each rule.

    7.      All added divisions will appear on the right panel.

    8.     Once done, click Save to store the complete setting.

  • Apply Division Settings to Classes

    To apply the saved division setting:

    1.       Go to the Apply Setting section (on the right panel).

    2.     Select the Shift (e.g., Morning, Evening).

    3.     Select the Classes you wish to apply the setting to.

    4.     Choose the Setting Name from the dropdown.

    5.     Click on Apply Setting.

    Edit or Update Existing Division Settings

    Need to make changes to an existing setup?

    1.       Click on Division Setting.

    2.     Select the Edit option.

    3.     Choose the Setting Name to load its details.

    4.     Modify the:

    o   Max/Min values

    o   Grades/Divisions

    o   Remarks

    o   Result fields

    5.     Use Remove to delete a specific row.

    6.     Click Update to save your changes.
