The Initiatives allows your institute to showcase special campaigns, programs, and activities that reflect your school's values and commitment to the community (e.g., environmental drives, health campaigns, social awareness programs). VIDYAOne lets you manage this from the admin panel under Campus Life.
Go to the left sidebar in the admin panel
Click on Campus Life
Click on Initiatives Menu
How to Add a New Initiative
Click the Edit button on the top right
Click + New to add a new initiative entry
Fill in the following fields:

Initiative Page Content (Required)
Heading – The title of the initiative (e.g., "Go Green, Go Happy"). Maximum 70 characters.
Description – A brief overview of the initiative and its purpose (e.g., "A school-wide environmental campaign promoting tree plantation, waste segregation, and eco-friendly practices"). Maximum 800 characters.
Initiative Video (Optional)
Scroll down to the Initiative Video section
Fill in the following fields:
- Video Caption – A title for the video (e.g., "Go Green Campaign Volunteers")
- YouTube Video Link – Paste the YouTube link for the initiative video. Only YouTube links are allowed.
Click Video Preview to verify the video before saving
Initiatives Images
Scroll down to the Initiatives Images section
Upload images related to the initiative. Maximum image size is 1MB (600 x 400 pixels).
For each image, add:
- Image Caption – A short title for the image
- Image Description (Alt Text) – A short description of the image. Maximum 70 characters.
You can upload multiple images for each initiative
You can reorder initiative entries by dragging and dropping them into the desired order
Click Save to apply your changes
Important Tips
Use a clear and inspiring heading that immediately communicates the purpose of the initiative
Add images and videos to make the initiative page more engaging and visually appealing
Regularly update the initiatives section to reflect your school's current campaigns and programs
Click Publish from the top right of the admin panel to make your changes live on the website
