How to Add Teaching Staff Details on Your Institute Website in VIDYAOne

The Teaching Staff webapge allows your institute to showcase subject-wise teacher profiles including their qualifications, contact details, and the classes and subjects they teach. VIDYAOne lets you manage this from the admin panel under School Information.

How to Navigate to the Teaching Staff Menu

Go to the left sidebar in the admin panel
Under School Info, click on School Information
Click on Teaching Staff menu.
You will see the following default department tabs: English, Social Studies, Science, and Mathematics
You can also create a new department by clicking + New Department


How to Add a New Teaching Staff Member

Select the department tab you want to add the teacher under (e.g., English)
Click the Edit button on the top right
Click + New Staff to add a new entry

Teacher's Detail (Required)

Full Name – The full name of the teacher (e.g., "English Teacher")
Position / Role – Their role or designation (e.g., "TGT English")
Date of Birth – Their date of birth
Joining Date – The date they joined the institute
Years of Experience – Total years of teaching experience
Gender – Select from the dropdown (Male / Female / Other)
Display Order – The order in which this teacher appears on the page


Teacher's Photo

Scroll down to the Teacher's Photo section
Click on the image area to upload a photo of the teacher. Maximum image size is 1MB (400 x 500 pixels)
Add a Photo Caption and Photo Description (Alt Text)
Click View Photo to preview or Clear Photo to remove it


Address Details

Scroll down to the Address Details section
Fill in the following fields:
  1. Street Address
  2. City
  3. State – Select from the dropdown
  4. District – Select from the dropdown
  5. Country – Select from the dropdown
  6. PIN Code


Contact & Social

Scroll down to the Contact & Social section
Fill in the following fields:
  1. Email Address – The teacher's official email (e.g., "englishteacher@school.edu")
  2. Mobile Numbers – Add one or more contact numbers. Click + Add Another Number to add more. Check Mobile Visible to display the number on the website.
  3. Social Profiles – Click + New Social Profile to add social media links


Qualifications & Achievements (Optional)

Scroll down to the Qualifications & Achievements section
Qualification – Click + Add Qualification to add academic qualifications (e.g., "M.A. English", "B.Ed.")
Awards – Click + Add Award to list recognitions received (e.g., "Best Class Teacher Award")


Classes Taught – Click + New Class to add the classes this teacher handles (e.g., VI, VII)
Subjects – Click + New Subject to add the subjects they teach (e.g., "English", "Literature")
Click Save to apply your changes


How to Add a New Department

If your institute has teachers in subjects not covered by the default tabs:
Click + New Department next to the existing tabs
Enter the name of the new department (e.g., "Physics", "History", "Physical Education")
Add staff members under it following the same steps above


Important Tips

  1. Use the Classes & Subjects section to clearly show parents which teacher handles which class and subject
  2. Check Mobile Visible only if you want the teacher's contact number to be publicly visible on the website
  3. Use the Display Order field to control which teachers appear first within each department
  4. Click Publish from the top right of the admin panel to make your changes live on the website
