In this guide, you will learn how to change existing website images, upload new replacement images, update image details, and publish the changes on your live school website.

To replace website images:
Login to your VIDYAOne School Website Admin Panel.
From the left-side menu, go to:
Gallery → Image Gallery
The Image Gallery page will open.
Here you can:
View uploaded images category-wise
Edit existing images
Replace old images
Remove unwanted images
Add new images
At the top of the page, you will see gallery categories such as:
Sports Event
Academic Event
Campus Life
Festival Event
Select the category where your image is already uploaded.
Example: If you want to replace a Sports Day image, Click the Sports Event category tab. The related gallery images and details will open.
To update or replace the existing image, Click the Edit button available at the top-right section.
The image editing form will become active. Now you can:
Replace the image
Update captions
Change descriptions
Modify display order
Update links or headings
In the Gallery Image section:
Click on the current uploaded image.
Your computer file browser will open.
Select the new image from your system.
Click Open.
Supported image formats:( JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, WEBP, BMP). After selecting the image, the crop window will appear.
Before saving the image, you can crop and adjust it properly.

Avoid cutting faces or text
Maintain proper alignment
Use clean and balanced framing
After adjusting, Click Confirm. The updated image preview will now appear in the gallery section.
The Image Caption field is used as the image title. You can edit the old caption and add a new one. Example:
Old Caption: Annual Function Image
Updated Caption: Students Performing Dance During Annual Function 2026
Good image captions help visitors understand the image clearly.
The Image Description (Alt Text) field is important for:

You can also update the Information Heading.

This heading may appear with the image on your website.
The description section allows you to explain the activity or event.
Example:
Our students actively participated in cultural activities that encourage creativity, teamwork, and confidence building.
A good description provides more information to parents and website visitors.
If your image section contains links, you can also update:
Link Text
Link URL
Example:
Link Text: View Event Details
Link URL: https://yourwebsite.com
This section is optional.
The Display Order field controls the position of the image inside the gallery.
Example:
1 = Show first
2 = Show second
3 = Show third
You can rearrange gallery images by updating the display order number.
After making all changes Click the Save button. A success message will appear confirming that the image has been updated successfully.
Saving the image only updates the admin panel. To show the updated image on your live school website, Click the Publish button available at the top-right corner.
After publishing:
The old image will be replaced
Visitors will see the updated image on the website
Important:
If you do not click Publish, the changes may not appear on the live website.
