How to manage curriculum details on the VIDYAOne school website.

The Curriculum menu allows your institute to showcase the academic structure, subjects taught, and teaching methodology for different class groups. VIDYAOne lets you manage this from the admin panel under Academics.

How to Navigate to the Curriculum Menu

Go to the left sidebar in the admin panel.
Click on Academics.
Click on the Curriculum tab at the top of the page.

How to Add or Edit a Curriculum Section

You can create separate curriculum entries for different class groups (e.g., Classes 1–5, Classes 6–8). Click + New Curriculum to add a new one, or click Edit to update an existing one.

Part 1: Section Details

Fill in the following fields:
  1. Section Name – The name of the class group (e.g., "Classes 1–5", "Senior Secondary"). Maximum 70 characters.
  2. Coordinator Name – The name of the person responsible for this section. Maximum 70 characters.
Scroll down to the Coordinator's Photo section to upload a photo of the coordinator. Maximum image size is 1MB (400 x 500 pixels). Add a Photo Caption and Photo Description (Alt Text).


Part 2: Curriculum Description
Scroll down to the Curriculum Description section
Fill in the Description – A short description about what students will learn in this section. Maximum 800 characters.


Part 3: Subjects
  1. Scroll down to the Subjects section
  2. Click + Add Subject to add subjects taught in this class group
  3. Enter the subject name along with its short code (e.g., "English – ENG", "Mathematics – MATH")
  4. You can add as many subjects as needed

Part 4: Assessment & Methodology (Recommended)
Scroll down to the Assessment & Methodology section

Fill in the following fields:
  1. Assessment – Describe how students are tested and graded (e.g., ongoing observation, worksheets, oral tests). Maximum 800 characters.
  2. Methodology – Explain the teaching approach and style used in this section (e.g., interactive storytelling, hands-on activities, digital tools). Maximum 800 characters.
How to Rearrange Curriculum Sections
You can reorder curriculum sections by dragging and dropping them into the desired order

Important Tips

Create a separate curriculum entry for each class group so parents can easily find relevant information
Fill in the Assessment & Methodology section to give parents a clear picture of how their child will be taught and evaluated
Click Publish from the top right of the admin panel to make your changes live on the website
