How to manage school uniform guidelines on VIDYAOne School Website

The Uniform webpage allows your institute to share uniform guidelines, images, and details about regular and house uniforms. VIDYAOne lets you manage this from the admin panel under Academics.

How to Navigate to the Uniform Menu

  1. Go to the left sidebar in the admin panel
  2. Click on Academics
  3. Click on Uniform Menu
You will see three sub-tabs: General Information, Regular Uniforms, and House Uniforms

General Information

This section contains the main introduction, image, video, and guidelines for the Uniform page.
Click the Edit button on the top right
Fill in the following fields in the Uniform Page Content section:
  1. Heading – The main heading for the uniform page (e.g., "School Uniforms"). Maximum 70 characters.
  2. Subheading – A short line describing the uniform details (e.g., "Summer and Winter Uniform Details"). Maximum 150 characters.
  3. Description – A detailed description explaining the school uniform policy and its importance. Maximum 1200 characters.

Scroll to the Uniform Image section:
Click on the image area to upload an image. Maximum image size is 1MB (600 x 400 pixels)
Add an Image Caption and Image Description (Alt Text)


Scroll to the Uniform Video section (Optional):
  1. Video Caption – A title for the video (e.g., "School Uniform Guidelines")
  2. YouTube Video Link – Paste the YouTube link for the video. Only YouTube links are allowed.
Click Video Preview to verify the video before saving


Scroll down to the Uniform Guidelines section (Optional):
Click + Add Guideline to add each guideline as a separate point (e.g., "Uniform should be neat and clean", "Shoes must be polished and proper", "Tie and belt must be worn correctly")


Click Save to apply your changes

Regular Uniforms

This section lets you add details and images for the day-to-day school uniform.

  1. Click on the Regular Uniforms tab
  2. Click the Edit button on the top right
  3. Add uniform details
  4. Click Save to apply your changes

House Uniforms

This section lets you add details and images for house or sports uniforms.

  1. Click on the House Uniforms tab
  2. Click the Edit button on the top right
  3. Add uniform details, descriptions, and house name for the uniform
  4. Click Save to apply your changes


Important Tips

Use the Description to explain the importance of wearing the uniform and your school's policy
Add clear photos of the uniform so parents and new students know exactly what to purchase
Use the Guidelines section to list specific dress code rules in a clear, scannable format
Click Publish from the top right of the admin panel to make your changes live on the website
