How to publish School prayer content on VIDYAOne school website
The Prayer webpage allows your institute to share daily and special prayers with students and parents on the school website. VIDYAOne lets you manage this from the admin panel under Home Page.
How to Navigate to the Prayer Menu
Go to the left sidebar in the admin panel
Under School Info, click on Home Page
At the top of the page, click on the Prayer tab
You will see three sub-tabs: General Information, Daily Prayers, and Special Prayers
General Information
This section contains the main introduction and description for the Prayer page.
Click the Edit button on the top right
Fill in the following fields in the Prayer Content section:
- Section Heading – The main heading for the prayer page (e.g., "School Prayers"). Maximum 70 characters.
- Subheading – A short line shown below the heading (e.g., "Daily and Special Prayers for Students"). Maximum 150 characters.
- Description – A description explaining the purpose and importance of prayers at your institute. Maximum 1600 characters.
- Additional Notes – Any extra instructions or context about prayer usage at your institute (e.g., "All prayers are recited daily or on special occasions as per the school calendar"). Maximum 1600 characters.
Scroll down to the Upload Image section to add a prayer-related image:
- Click the image area to upload an image
- Add an Image Caption and Image Description (Alt Text)
- Scroll down to the Prayer Video section (Optional) to add a YouTube video:
- Video Caption – A title for the video (e.g., "School Prayers Guidelines")
- YouTube Video Link – Paste the YouTube link for the prayer video. Only YouTube links are allowed.
Click Save to apply your changes
Daily Prayers
This section allows you to add the daily prayers that students recite every day.
- Click on the Daily Prayers tab
- Click the Edit button on the top right
- Add each daily prayer with its title and content
- Click Save to apply your changes
Special Prayers
This section allows you to add prayers for special occasions such as national holidays, festivals, and school events.
- Click on the Special Prayers tab
- Click the Edit button on the top right
- Add each special prayer with its title and the occasion it is used for
Click Save to apply your changes
Important Tips
Keep the Section Heading and Subheading simple and welcoming
Use the Additional Notes field to inform parents and students about when and how prayers are conducted at your institute
Click Publish from the top right of the admin panel to make your changes live on the website
