How to Publish school rules and guidelines on VIDYAOne School website

The Schools Policies menu allows your institute to publish general rules, privacy policy, terms of service, and other guidelines for parents and students. VIDYAOne lets you manage this from the admin panel under Rules and Policy.

How to Navigate to the School Rules Menu 

Go to the left sidebar in the admin panel
Under Rules and Policy, click on Schools Policies
At the top of the page, you will see the following tabs: General Rules, Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, and Terms of Payment
Click on the relevant tab to manage that policy


How to Add or Edit General Rules

  1. Click on the General Rules tab
  2. Click the Edit button on the top right
  3. Click + New Rule to add a new rule group, or edit an existing one
  4. Fill in the following fields in the General Rules Page Content section:
    1. Heading – The main heading for the general rules section (e.g., "Our School Rules"). Maximum 70 characters.
    2. Rule's Heading – A short title for this specific group of rules (e.g., "You Must Follow These Below Rules", "Student Conduct", "Discipline"). Maximum 70 characters.
    3. Description – A brief overview explaining the purpose of these rules. Maximum 1500 characters.
    4. List of Rules – Add each rule as a separate line by clicking + Add Instructions (e.g., "Students must attend all classes regularly and be punctual", "Homework and assignments should be completed and submitted on time")
  5. You can reorder rule groups by dragging and dropping them into the desired order

How to Attach a Rules Document (Optional)

You can attach a downloadable PDF of the school rules for parents to save.
Scroll down to the File Content section

Enter a File Name / Caption for the file (e.g., "General Rules for School"). Maximum 70 characters.
Click Upload File to upload the document
Check Allow Download to let parents download the file

Click Save to apply your changes

Important Tips

Group related rules together under a clear Rule's Heading so parents and students can find them easily
Keep each rule in the list short, specific, and easy to understand
Attach a downloadable PDF so parents can save and refer to the rules offline
Click Publish from the top right of the admin panel to make your changes live on the website

Notes
Note:- If you see a message saying "This page is currently disabled", you will need to enable it first from the Page Settings before making any edits.
