How to Publish Testimonials on VIDYAOne School Website
The Testimonials webpage allows your institute to showcase experiences and feedback shared by parents, teachers, and students. VIDYAOne lets you manage this from the admin panel under Campus Life.
How to Navigate to the Testimonials Menu
- Go to the left sidebar in the admin panel
- Click on Campus Life
- Click on Testimonials menu.
You will see three default category tabs: Parent, Teacher, and Student
You can also create a new category by clicking + New Category
How to Add a New Testimonial
Select the category tab you want to add the testimonial under (e.g., Parent)
Click the Edit button on the top right
Click + New Testimonial to add a new entry
Fill in the following fields:
Details (Required)
- Parent's / Teacher's / Student's Name – The full name of the person providing the testimonial. Maximum 40 characters.
- Designation – Their occupation or profession (e.g., "Doctor", "Engineer"). Maximum 70 characters.
- Message – A genuine testimonial highlighting their experience with the school. Maximum 200 characters.
- Display Order – The order in which this testimonial appears on the page
Profile Photo
Scroll down to the Photo section
Click on the image area to upload a photo. Maximum image size is 1MB (400 x 500 pixels)
Add a Photo Caption and Photo Description (Alt Text)
Click View Photo to preview or Clear Photo to remove it
Student's Details (Optional)
For parent testimonials, you can also add the child's details:
- Student's Name – The full name of the child. Maximum 40 characters.
- Student's Class – The student's current class (e.g., "8")
Click Save to apply your changes
How to Add a New Category
If your institute wants testimonials beyond the default tabs:
Click + New Category next to the existing tabs
Enter the name of the new category (e.g., "Alumni", "Staff")
Add testimonials under it following the same steps above
Important Tips
Use genuine, specific testimonials that highlight real experiences at your institute
Keep the message concise and impactful — it is the most visible part of the testimonial
Add a photo to make each testimonial more personal and trustworthy
Click Publish from the top right of the admin panel to make your changes live on the website
