How to update co-curricular activities on VIDYAOne school website
The Co-Curricular menu allows your institute to showcase activities like arts, music, dance, sports, and more offered to students. VIDYAOne lets you manage this from the admin panel under Academics.
How to Navigate to the Co-Curricular Editor
Go to the left sidebar in the admin panel
Click on Academics
Click on the Co-Curricular tab at the top of the page
Section 1: Co-Curricular Content
- This is the main introduction section for the Co-Curricular page.
- Click the Edit button on the top right.
- Fill in the following fields:
- Section Heading – The main heading for the co-curricular section (e.g., "Co-Curricular Activities"). Maximum 70 characters.
- Section Description – A description about the co-curricular activities offered by your institute. Maximum 1200 characters.
- Co-Curricular Page Image – Upload an image related to student activities, sports, cultural events, competitions, or other co-curricular programs to visually showcase student participation and campus life.
Section 2: Co-Curricular File (Optional)
This section allows you to upload a file related to the co-curricular activities (e.g., an activity schedule or competition details PDF).
Scroll down to the Co-Curricular File section.
Enter a File Name / Caption for the uploaded file. Maximum 70 characters.
Click Upload File to upload your file.
Check Allow Download if you want visitors to be able to download the file.
Section 3: Activity Photos
This section lets you upload photos of co-curricular activities to display on the page.
Scroll down to the Activity Photos section
- Click on + New Photo to Upload photos of activities. Maximum image size is 1MB (600 x 400 pixels)
- Add an Image Caption and Image Description (Alt Text) for each photo
- Click Save to apply your changes
Important Tips
Use the description to highlight the range and variety of activities your institute offers
Keep file names clear and descriptive so visitors know what they are downloading
Click Publish from the top right of the admin panel to make your changes live on the website
