How to update facilities information on VIDYAOne school website
The Facilities menu allows your institute to showcase the amenities and infrastructure available to students. VIDYAOne lets you manage this from the admin panel under Campus Life.
How to Navigate to the Facilities Menu
Go to the left sidebar in the admin panel
Click on Campus Life
Click on the Facilities tab at the top of the page
Facility Content
This is the main introduction section for the Facilities page.
Click the Edit button on the top right
Fill in the following fields:
- Section Heading – The main heading for the facilities section (e.g., "We Provide the Best Class Facilities"). Maximum 70 characters.
- Subheading – A short line to highlight key features of the facilities (e.g., "Modern Infrastructure & Student-Centric Amenities"). Maximum 150 characters.
- Section Description – A detailed description about the facilities provided by your institute. Maximum 1200 characters.
Facility Areas
This section lets you add individual facility entries for specific areas of your campus (e.g., Library, Playground, Computer Lab).
Scroll down to the Facility Area Content section
Click Edit and add a new facility entry
For each facility, fill in the following fields:
- Facility Name – The name of the facility (e.g., "Recreational Area", "Library"). Maximum 70 characters.
- Short Description – A short line describing the facility (e.g., "Play and Physical Activity"). Maximum 150 characters.
- Facility Details – Detailed information about this facility and its features. Maximum 1200 characters.
Scroll down to the Facility Photos section to upload photos of the facility. Maximum image size is 1MB (600 x 400 pixels). Add an Image Caption and Image Description (Alt Text) for each photo.
Click Save to apply your changes
Important Tips
Add a separate facility entry for each key area such as classrooms, labs, library, sports ground, and auditorium
Use the Short Description to give visitors a quick idea of what the facility offers
Use the Facility Details field to provide a thorough description that highlights what makes your facilities special
Click Publish from the top right of the admin panel to make your changes live on the website
