How to update infrastructure details on your school website in VIDYAOne

The Infrastructure menu allows your institute to showcase the various facilities and spaces available on campus such as labs, offices, and classrooms. VIDYAOne lets you manage this from the admin panel under Campus Life.

How to Navigate to the Infrastructure Menu

  1. Go to the left sidebar in the admin panel
  2. Click on Campus Life
  3. Click on the Infrastructure tab at the top of the page
  4. You will see the following default section tabs: Administrative-Offices, Chemistry-Lab, Computer-Lab, and Science-Lab
  5. You can also create a new section by clicking + New Section


How to Add or Edit an Infrastructure Entry

Select the section tab you want to edit (e.g., Administrative-Offices)
Click the Edit button on the top right
Click + New Facility to add a new entry, or edit an existing one

Fill in the following fields in the Infrastructure Content section:
  1. Section Heading – The heading for this infrastructure section (e.g., "Administrative Offices", "Chemistry Lab"). Maximum 70 characters.
  2. Section Description – A detailed description of this infrastructure area and its features. The description field is required.
  3. Key Details – Important information such as capacity, features, or usage of this space (e.g., "Modern office furniture, communication systems, and digital tools"). Maximum 100 characters.
  4. Key Highlights – A list of notable highlights for this section. Click + Add Highlights to add each point (e.g., "Principal's office and staff rooms", "Reception and visitor management", "Efficient record-keeping and administrative support")
  5. Display Order – The order in which this entry appears on the page
Click Save to apply your changes

How to Add a New Infrastructure Section

If your campus has areas not covered by the default sections:
Click + New Section next to the existing tabs
Enter the name of the new section (e.g., "Art Room", "Music Room", "Sports Hall")
Add entries under it following the same steps above

Important Tips

Add a separate entry for each key area of your campus so parents and students get a complete picture of your infrastructure
Use Key Highlights to list the most impressive or unique features of each space in a scannable format
Use the Display Order field to control which infrastructure sections appear first
Click Publish from the top right of the admin panel to make your changes live on the website
