How to update School Information on VIDYAOne School Website
The School Details allows your institute to update its core information including the school name, affiliation details, logo, contact information, and Google Maps location. VIDYAOne lets you manage this from the admin panel under School Information.
How to Navigate to the School Details Menu
Go to the left sidebar in the admin panel
Under School Info, click on School Information
At the top of the page, click on the School Details tab
School Basic Details (Required)
Click the Edit button on the top right
Fill in the following fields:
- School Name – The official registered name of the institute
- Established Year – The year the institute was established
- Board – The education board the institute is affiliated with (e.g., "CBSE Board")
- Affiliation Number – The official affiliation number
- School Code – The official school code
- Affiliated By – The name of the affiliating authority (e.g., "CBSE NEW DELHI")
- UDISE Number – The UDISE number of the institute
School Logo
Scroll down to the School Logo section
Click on the logo area to upload or replace the school logo. Maximum image size is 1MB (400 x 400 pixels).
Fill in the following:
- Title – A title for the logo
- Alternative Text – A short description of the logo
Website URL
Scroll down to the Website URL section
Enter the official website URL of the institute. The URL must start with https://
Principal Details & Location Details (Recommended)
Scroll down to the Principal Details and Location Details sections
Fill in the principal's name, contact, and qualification details
Fill in the location fields:
Street Address, City, State, District, Country, PIN Code
Email and Contacts
This section allows you to add multiple email addresses and phone numbers for different departments.
Scroll down to the Email and Contacts section
- Under Email Addresses, add email addresses for each department:
- Enter the Email Address and select the Type from the dropdown (e.g., Office, Transport, Principal)
- Under the Phone tab, add phone numbers for each department:
- Enter the Phone Number and select the Type (e.g., Office, Transport, Principal)
- Click the WhatsApp tab to add WhatsApp numbers separately if needed
Google Map Location
This section allows you to embed a Google Maps location on your school's contact page.
Scroll down to the Google Map Location section
Go to Google Maps, search for your school's location, click Share → Embed a map, and copy the embed URL
Paste the URL into the Map Embed URL field. The URL must start with "https://www.google.com/maps/embed"
A Map Preview will appear below to confirm the correct location is shown
Click Save to apply your changes
Important Tips
Keep all contact information accurate and up to date so parents can easily reach the right department
Always use the correct embed URL from Google Maps — not the regular share link
Make sure the school logo is clear and high quality as it appears across the entire website
Click Publish from the top right of the admin panel to make your changes live on the website
