How to Update Transport Details on VIDYAOne School Website
The Transport webpage allows your institute to share information about the school transport service, safety rules, and bus route details. VIDYAOne lets you manage this from the admin panel under Campus Life.
How to Navigate to the Transport Menu
Go to the left sidebar in the admin panel
Click on Campus Life
Click on the Transport tab at the top of the page
You will see two sub-tabs: General Information and Buses
General Information
This section contains the main introduction, description, transport rules, and an image for the Transport page.
Click the Edit button on the top right
Fill in the following fields in the Transport Page Content section:
- Section Heading – The main heading for the transport section (e.g., "Safe & Reliable School Transport"). Maximum 70 characters.
- Description – A brief overview of the school transport service, including safety measures and conveniences. Maximum 1600 characters.
- Scroll to the Transport Page Image section:
- Click on the image area to upload an image. Maximum image size is 1MB (600 x 400 pixels)
- Add an Image Caption and Image Description (Alt Text)
- Scroll down to the Rules For Transport section (Optional):
- Rules Section Heading – A heading for the transport rules (e.g., "Rules to Follow While Travelling by Bus"). Maximum 70 characters.
- Rules – Click + Add New Rule to add each rule as a separate point (e.g., "Reach the bus stop at least 5 minutes before the scheduled time", "Always carry your bus pass and show it when asked", "Remain seated while the bus is moving")
Click Save to apply your changes
School Buses
This section lets you add details about individual bus routes available for students.
- Click on the Buses tab
- Click the Edit button on the top right
- Click + New Bus to add a new bus route entry
- Fill in the relevant route and bus details
- Click Save to apply your changes
Important Tips
Keep the description clear and reassuring for parents — focus on safety, trained drivers, and supervision
Keep transport rules specific and easy to follow
Update bus route details at the start of every academic year
Click Publish from the top right of the admin panel to make your changes live on the website
