How to upload images to gallery on VIDYAOne school website

The Gallery menu allows your institute to showcase photos from events, campus life, sports, and more. VIDYAOne lets you manage this from the admin panel under Media & Resources.
  1. Go to the left sidebar in the admin panel
  2. Under Media & Resources, click on Gallery
  3. At the top of the page, click on the Image Gallery tab
  4. You will see the following default category tabs: Diwali Event, Sports Event, Academic Event, and Campus Life
  5. You can also create a new category by clicking + New Category


How to Add a New Image

Select the category tab you want to add the image under (e.g., Diwali Event)
Click the Edit button on the top right
Click + New Image to add a new entry

Fill in the following fields in the Image Details section:
  1. Information Heading – A heading for this image (e.g., "Class 9th Students Creating Rangoli on Diwali Event"). Maximum 70 characters.
  2. Description – A short description about the image. Maximum 200 characters.
  3. Link Text – The text shown on the call-to-action link (e.g., "Connect with Us on Social Media"). Maximum 70 characters.
  4. Link URL – The URL where visitors will be redirected when they click the link

Fill in the following fields in the Gallery Image section :
  1. Click on the image area to Upload Image. Maximum image size is 1MB (400 x 500 pixels).
  2. Image Caption – A short title for the image
  3. Image Description (Alt Text) – A short description of the image. Maximum 70 characters.
  4. Upload Date – The date the image was uploaded
  5. Display Order – The order in which this image appears in the gallery
Click Save to apply your changes
If your institute has photos from events or activities not covered by the default categories:
Click + New Category next to the existing tabs

Enter the name of the new category (e.g., "Annual Day", "Science Fair")
Add images under it following the same steps above


Important Tips

Use clear and descriptive headings and captions so visitors understand the context of each photo
Use the Display Order field to control which images appear first in the gallery
Keep images under 1MB to ensure fast loading on the website
Regularly update the gallery with new photos to keep the website fresh and engaging
Click Publish from the top right of the admin panel to make your changes live on the website
