Subject Entry

 The Subject Entry option allows you to add, edit, or delete subjects and papers for exams efficiently.


How to Add a New Subject

Follow these simple steps:

  1. Open the Exam Module.
  2. Select the Subject Entry option.

 


  1. Choose the New option to add a new subject.
  2. Select the Shift, Class, and Stream relevant to the subject.

 

 


  1. To add a group subject, check the Group option, then select the group.
    • If the group is not defined, click Add Group to create a new one.
  2. To add a main subject, check the Main Subject option, then select the main subject.
    • If the main subject is not defined, click Add Main Subject to create one.
  3. Enter the Subject Name in the subject column.
  4. Click Add to save the subject.
  5. The subject will now appear in the Subject Structure column on the right.

How to Add Papers to a Subject

  1. In the Subject Entry window, select the Paper option to add papers such as Paper 1, Paper 2, etc.
  2. Choose the New option.
  3. Select the Shift, Class, and Stream.

 

 

  1. Select the Subject you want to add papers to.
  2. Enter the Paper Name.
  3. Click Add to save the paper.

To edit or delete papers, select the appropriate option (Edit/Delete) and follow similar steps. Use the Update or Delete button accordingly.


How to Edit a Subject

  1. Open the Exam Module.
  2. Select Subject Entry.
  3. Choose the Edit option.
  4. Select the Shift, Class, and Stream.

 

  1. Select the subject you want to edit.
  2. Make the required changes.
  3. Click Update to save the modifications.

How to Delete a Subject

  1. Open the Exam Module.
  2. Select Subject Entry.
  3. Choose the Delete option.
  4. Select the Shift, Class, and Stream.

 

  1. Select the subject you want to delete.
  2. Click Delete to remove the subject permanently.

 

⚠ Note: If an exam has already been created, you cannot add or delete the subject
