Steps To Create Marksheet

(For Efficient and Error-Free Exam Management in VIDYA)

 To ensure a smooth workflow while managing exams in the VIDYA School Management Software, please follow these essential guidelines:

 Note:- Always enter exams in the same sequence you want them to appear on the Marksheet. This ensures consistency in report generation and printing.

 

✅ 1. Subject Entry

  • Before creating any exam, complete the subject entries under the Subject Entry option. This is the foundational step for exam setup.

 


✅ 2. New Entry

  • Go to the New Entry option in the Exam module to create a new exam structure.

🔔 Note: Make sure all relevant subjects are already entered before creating the exam.

 

✅ 3. Admit Card

  • It is mandatory to generate Admit Cards for students before you begin entering marks. This step links students with the exam and subjects.

 


✅ 4. Marks Entry

  • In the Marks Entry section, you can enter students’ marks.

🔔 Note:  Please ensure that the Admit Card has been generated for the exam before entering any marks.

  


✅ 5. Division Setting

  • Division Settings are used to define the grading criteria or classification (such as First Division, Second Division, etc.) based on students' percentage.
     These settings help categorize student performance during result calculation.

 

✅ 6. Result Calculation

Result Calculation is the process of generating students’ final results based on their marks to accurately determine the Result, Remarks, and Rank.

🔔 Note:  Please ensure that the Division Setting has been done before Result calculation

 


✅ 7. Marksheet

The Marksheet section is used to generate the Report Card for students.
