What is Announcement ?
An Announcement is a formal message that appears on your school’s website to inform students, parents, and visitors about important updates such as holidays, events, admissions, or achievements.
With the VIDYA School Website, announcements are automatically displayed on the homepage as soon as the website loads—ensuring maximum visibility and timely communication.
🛠️ How to Add an Announcement
Follow these simple steps to add an announcement to your school website:
✅ Step 1:
Log in to the Admin Panel.
✅ Step 2:
Go to the "Announcement" option from the main menu.
✅ Step 3:
Click on the "New Announcement" button.
✅ Step 4:
Fill in the following details:

Name of the announcement
-
Start Date & Time
-
End Date & Time
✅ Step 5:
Add an Image:

Click on the "Browse" button to choose an image.

Click on the "Upload" button to attach the image.
✅ Step 6:
Click the "Save" button to publish the announcement.
Your announcement will now appear on the homepage of your school website during the selected time period.
🚫 How to Stop or Remove an Announcement
You have two options to stop displaying an announcement:
Method 1: Change the End Date

Edit the announcement and set the End Date to a past date.
This will immediately hide it from the website.
Method 2: Delete the Announcement

Go to the Announcement section.

Locate the announcement you want to remove.

Click on Delete to permanently remove it from the website.
