How to Manage Holiday

The Holiday feature allows your school to maintain an up-to-date list of all upcoming holidays. This list is displayed on the website for students, parents, and staff to stay informed about school closures and important dates.

🗓️ View Holiday List

✅ Steps:

  1. Log in to the Admin Panel.

  2. Navigate to Academic → Holiday.

  3. The full list of holidays will be displayed.

            

➕ Add a New Holiday

To add a new holiday to the school calendar:

✅ Steps:

  1. Open Academic → Holiday from the Admin Panel.

  2. Click the “New Holiday” button.


  1. Select the Date of the holiday.

  2. Enter the Holiday Name (e.g., Independence Day, Diwali).



  1. Click “Save”.

🎉 The new holiday will now appear in the Holiday List on your website.

✏️ Edit or 🗑️ Delete a Holiday

You can easily modify or remove any holiday from the list:

✅ Steps:

  1. Go to Academic → Holiday.

  2. To edit:
    • Click the Edit Icon next to the holiday.

    • Update the date and holiday name as needed.

    • Click “Update” to save changes.

  3. To delete:

    • Click the Delete Icon next to the holiday you wish to remove.



🛑 Once deleted, the holiday will be removed from the website.

🎉 That’s it!
You’ve now successfully managed the school holiday list using the VIDYA School Website.
