The Modify feature in the Student Module is to update, or review any student’s records quickly and accurately. Below is a step-by-step guide to help you navigate this functionality with ease.
Open the Student Module
Click Modify
Use the filter panel at the top to narrow down the list:
Shift [▼]
Class [▼]
Stream [▼] (for higher grades)
Section [▼]
Then:
Click Load Record
The system will display all matching student entries in a table
Once records are loaded, you can further filter results by typing into any of these columns:
Student Name
Registration No.
Sr. No. (Serial Number)
Father’s Name
Date of Birth
Gender
Address, City, State, Pincode
Mobile No.
This on-the-fly filtering helps you locate a specific student without re-running the full query.
Select the row of the student you wish to inspect
Click Detail
A comprehensive profile and report window opens, showing all admission form data, fee history.
Close the window when finished to return to the Modify screen
From the selected student, click Edit (A/C)
In the Account Details window:
Modify fields such as bank account details
Close the window to resume other edits
Click Edit on the chosen student row
Use the Prev ⟨⟨ and Next ⟩⟩ buttons to navigate between records without returning to the main list
Change any fields (e.g., address, contact number, streaming choices)
Click Update to apply and save your edits
After any edits, ensure you:
Click the main Update button at the bottom of the Modify screen to commit all changes
Wait for the confirmation message (“Record updated successfully”)
Click OK to close the dialog
Always verify that you’ve selected the correct student before editing
If a required field is left blank, the system will prompt you—fill in all mandatory data
For any unexpected errors, contact your support team rather than attempting manual database fixes, to avoid data corruption
